TISSOT TISSONIC ESA9162 1973
A tuning fork ESA9162 in a Tissot branded Tissonic line dating back to 1973. Everything about this movement has been said in the Ultronic review so there is nothing more to ad. All the companies that used these movements based their sales strategy on slight differences in the target audience just like in any other field of business that requires proper sales and marketing.
Tissot was a sister company (label) to Omega but their watches were rather designed for the medium market segment whereas Omega was the sporty top shelf brand. This way or another I am more than certain of having seen an identical watch branded otherwise... Titus perhaps. Check the nice print on the dial!
